Software Developer ComDel Innovation 2100 15th St N, Wahpeton, ND 58075 Full Job Description Position Description The Software Developer position is responsible for creating and maintaining custom programs and reports to be used internally in our manufacturing environment. This individual will also enhance and maintain our ERP system (ECi M1). This individual will complete IT projects by identifying appropriate solutions and following timelines. This position will also require coordinating activities and system support with third party service providers when needed.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor of science in computer science, engineering or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity and experience with Microsoft Technology Stack (SQL Server, Visual Studio, .NET Framework).
  • Familiarity and experience with C/C++, Python, Java, VBScript and Crystal Reports.
  • Experience developing software for daily activities and troubleshooting systems.
  • Processing and compiling large amounts of data.
  • Knowledge of computer and network configurations, maintenance and troubleshooting.

Job Responsibilities

  • Work with users throughout the company to support IT needs.
  • Analyze methods of collecting data from production systems and reporting information for managing operations.
  • Design and develop software applications to support identified collection needs.
  • Develop custom reporting for the ERP system and other data systems.
  • Provide on-call IT systems support; provide technical support for software maintenance or use.
  • Troubleshoot issues with computer applications or systems for operations.
  • Modify software programs to improve performance.
  • Monitor computer system performance to ensure proper operation.
  • Test software performance.
  • Apply information technology to solve business or other applied problems.
  • Write/scripting computer programming code.
  • Project Management and Planning
  • Organizing, Planning and Prioritizing of position’s goals and initiatives.
  • Develop time management skills, with an ability to balance demand among various projects.

Pay: $25.00 - $45.00 per hour, based on experience
