+The Department of Mathematics and Statistics, Department of Computer Science, and NSF ACE Data
+Science and Analytics Program (DSA) at North Carolina A&T State University are hosting a ten-week Summer
+Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) Program in Data Science and Analytics for mathematics,
+computer science, engineering, physical, biological, and social sciences, technology, and business majors.
+The REU program will engage student interns via information technology and cloud computing in investigative
+research that entails developing tools in data analytics. The students will employ and analyze classical
+methods as well as investigate and develop new methodologies and applications. The proposed projects
+cover some of the most challenging research questions in data science and machine learning.
+The program is hybrid with eight weeks virtual and two weeks onsite, in-person program. If COVID restrictions
+require, it will shift to a fully virtual program. The program offers participants a research stipend of $6,000,
+two weeks housing and meal allowance of $1,500 for the onsite program, and travel support for out-of-state
+students.
+Eligibility: USA citizens or permanent residents.
