Internet-Enabled Handheld Devices Help Page
Microbrowsers are a miniaturized version of desktop browsers such as Netscape Navigators or Internet Explorers.
They are developed specifically for smartphones or PDAs.
Microbrowsers due to the limited resources of handheld devices are different from the traditional desktop browsers in the following features:
- smaller windows,
- smaller footprints, and
- less functions and multimedia features.
Smartphone or PDA emulators let you browse and test WAP content from your desktop or notebook computer.
Two emulators, TagTag and WinWAP, are recommended for mobile content development.
