How to Construct My Memento (Cont.)
- Mobile Web User Interface Construction (WML)
Wireless Markup Language (WML), based on HTML and XML, delivers Internet content to mobile handheld devices, such as Internet-enabled cellular phones and PDAs, which typically have very small displays, slow CPUs, limited memory capacity, low bandwidth, and restricted user-input capabilities.
For the above WML script:
- <input> tag allows users to enter information.
- <do> tag can be used to activate a task,
<go>
, <noop>
, <prev>
, or <refresh>
, when the user clicks on a word/phrase on the screen.
- <go> task represents the action of going to a new card.
- <postfield> tag is used to set a name/value pair that can be transmitted to an origin server (source of the request) during a URL request.
