  Design and implement a prototype of a personal memento for handheld devices by using server-side handheld computing.

Microbrowser Interface II (displayed after clicking on Display hyperlink from the Interface I or Back hyperlink from Interface III) Functionality Clicking on Main hyperlink will display Interface I. Display the memento items if their messages contain the keyword entered. If no keyword is entered, display all items.

  Modify your Web interface to include the TagTag microbrowser as follows:
  • Put the Web interface at http://people.cs.und.edu/~userid/handheld/exercises/.
  • Include a TagTag microbrowser and the microbrowser's default page is http://people.cs.und.edu/~userid/handheld/exercises/MyMemento.wml, the system's entry page.

• Evaluation
  The following features will be considered when grading:
  1. This exercise will NOT be graded if
     • the Web interface can not be found at http://people.cs.und.edu/~userid/handheld/exercises/,
     • the system's entry page is not at http://people.cs.und.edu/~userid/handheld/exercises/MyMemento.wml, and
     • redirection to the pages not hosted by http://people.cs.und.edu/~userid/ is used.
  2. A database has to be used.
  3. The SQL create table commands of database implementation have to be submitted.
  4. Before submitting the exercise, test it comprehensively. Absolutely no extra points will be granted after grading.
  5. If not specified, no error checking is required, i.e., you may assume the input is always correct for that case. For example, if no items are selected in Interface III, then Delete will not be selected.
  6. Each function will be tested extensively.
  7. User-friendliness will be heavily considered. In the past, some exercises were awkward. Made the grading difficult.
  8. Netscape 7.2 browser and TagTag microbrowser emulator will be used to grade this exercise. Note that Internet Explorer and Netscape are not compatible. That is your exercises may work on the IE but not Netscape. Also, most microbrowsers are not compatible.
  9. The interface shown is a basic requirement. Free to design your own interface.
