WML Cards

The <card> tag serves as a container element for all the various texts, images, links, and other WML tags that you wish to use to create your mobile Web site. A <card> element is somewhat analogous to the <body> element in HTML, but with one major difference, in that you can have more than one <card> element.

A collection of <card> elements (cards) is referred to as a deck. Note that there is no tag to signify a deck. However, the collection of <card> elements in contained in a <wml> element. When a WML page is accessed from a mobile phone, all the cards in the page are downloaded from the WAP server. Navigation between the cards is done by the phone computer—inside the phone—without any extra access trips to the server.

Note that the TagTag emulator can not handle the navigation among cards.
