Guidelines of Programming Exercises

Several simple programming exercises will be assigned and each exercise will use a major, unique programming language paradigm. The guidelines of exercise construction and evaluation are as follows:

About three programming exercises will be assigned. They are individual exercises instead of team exercises.

Exercises have to be located at the URLs:

and redirection (http-equiv="refresh") to the pages not hosted by http://people.cs.und.edu/~userid/ is prohibited. That is, you can only use the facilities provided by the public Unix servers at the Aerospace School to complete your exercises.

Web-enabled exercises allow the instructor to grade and check the exercises easily.

Each exercise may have a different weight based on its difficulty level.
