Using VPN (Virtual Private Network)

If you are off campus or not able to connect to the servers or tools like: wirelessly or remotely, you may need to use VPN (Virtual Private Network) to access it by taking the following steps:

  1. Check the VPN Help Pages.

  2. Download and install Global Protect VPN.
    3.  This is for PCs.

  3. Download and install Duo Mobile.
    4.  This is for smartphones.

  4. Sign in to the GlobalProtect Client.
    5.  Enter the portal address:

    • vpn.und.edu   (for UND students) or
    • gfdc-vpn.ndus.edu   (for NDUS).

    and click on the blue Connect button.

  5. Enter your UND ID and password.

  6. Call your smartphone (or enter a passcode).
    7.
  7. Check the Duo Mobile on your smartphone.

  8. Click on the button, Approve.
