Time and Place

Times:
Two completely different exams will be provided for campus and online students, respectively.
- Campus: 05:30pm – 07:30pm, Thursday, December 19, 2019
- Online: 05:30pm-06:00pm (2 hours), Thursday, December 19, 2019

Place: Collaborative Energy Complex 205

Question Style

Closed books and closed notes

Questions are similar to the ones in Exam II, but may be more advanced.

Though this exam will not cover the materials of Exam I and some of Exam II, you may need the previous learned knowledge such as SQL to answer questions.

This exam is programming-intensive. Methods used in Programming Exercise IV (and III because IV covers III) or mentioned in classes may be asked.

To help you code, a list of keywords, like Dispose, MapPath, Parameters, Repeater, SelectCommand, Server, and SqlDataSource, but not all the keywords used, will be given. Though the keywords are provided, you still need to know where and how to put them. Also, program templates may be given to help you program.

You are not likely to do well on the exam if you could not finish implementing the Exercises III and IV before the exam.

Question types may include: (i) true-or-false, (ii) multiple choices, (iii) matching, (iv) blank filling, (v) question-and-answer, and (vi) programming.

Database/SQL/Access is not the focus in this exam, but it may be asked because the ASP.NET questions may need to use the Access database.

The same to C# because the ASP.NET needs to use C#

Technology Survey and video contents will not be covered.

Weeks 10–13: ASP.NET (75% – 85%)
- ASP.NET is a large, complicated IDE. If the ASP.NET features were not mentioned in classes, they will not be asked.
- Knowing how the examples in slides work and apply them to exercises
- Web interface/questions ⇒ ASP.NET scripts
- ASP.NET tags/tools and their properties

Weeks 15 and 16: Web concepts (15% – 25%)
