Four popular assembly languages are currently available:
- MIPS (Microprocessor without Interlocked Pipelined Stages),
- ARM (ARM (Advanced RISC Machine),
- MASM (Microsoft Macro Assembler), and
- RISC (Reduced Instruction Set Computer).
This course will focus on MASM (CISC), and briefly discuss ARM (RISC).
